Well expecting low prices won’t matter for us in the USA once the ridiculous broadcast flag is in effect (7/2005). Who wants to buy a Blu-ray or HD-DVD burner when programing quality will be degraded or worese yet, not even able to record the program at all? Higher storage Blu-ray or HD-DVD burners will be only good for archiving files, not video… My $.02
