What? Once updated to ver 1.13 its not possible to revert to older firmware? Is that true?

try using dvrflash , then you can downgrade

thx for the upd8

why would you want to go back?

sometimes the older versions of firmware do a better job on certain media than the new. Even though the Pioneer drives are the closest thing to a miracle of god we have in dvd burners thats still possible. My LiteOn 52246S is that way the newest firmware doesnt do as good as the last for some CDRW’s.

I bought my Pioneer 107D last week and it came with a v1.10 Firmware so should I upgrade right now? or Should I wait for a hacked firm. Is there some big difference between the original and hacked ver (I know its region free but are there some other differences?)…

i have the latest rpc release and everything on my burner works fine. (i.e. I can burn 4x -R at 8x, etc…) if i upgrade with this new firmware will it overwrite this or change it ?

it will overwrite your current firmware
so no rpc1 if u do update or 4x@8x

well that settles that. no upgrade for this cowboy.

it it aint broke done fix it.
