I’m not sure if it’s a bad batch of discs or just lower quality, but many of my drives are having trouble burning these well. Mediatek-based drives especially.

I’ve only tried them with a limited number of drives so far. My iHAS422-8 and iHAS524-B do not like them either. NEC-based drives burn them ok, but nothing stellar. These were purchased from Newegg ~ 8 months ago.
Update: I picked up a new batch of the Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DLs, and they burn much better on all my drives. Guess I had a bad batch.
