Interesting jitter reports from the 20A3P [although it did just get jitter reporting…]. Nice scan reults all around. :clap:

That MCC 004 at 20x looks better than some of my 8x burns on YUDEN000 T02. :eek:

Does it read at 16x or still at 12x?

#13

Anyway scans and burning times are really impressive!Logically 215 will be a blast, maybe even better than Samsung 203B!

still at 12x

#15

Is there any downside you’ve noticed so far to using the 18x and 20x speeds with this drive? Like obtrusive noise, noticeable vibration, etc? Especially with CMC Magnetics’ media?

#16
still at 12x
Brad-Pioneer, why Pioneer doesn’t increase reading speed at 16x? :confused:
Nec-Optiriac, LiteOn, Samsung, BenQ…already do it.

#17

@wallace0134

The noise obviously louder than DVR-112.

Sorry, I have some mistakes. Further test the read speed is:
16x: Data Disc(+R, -R), Video Disc(+R w/booktype to DVD-ROM)
12x: Video Disc (-R, +R w/o booktype)

Why only 12x for video discs -R and +R without booktype to DVD-ROM? :confused:
