Anyone used TDK BD-RE DL media (TDKBLDWfa) with Pioneer BDR-206D drives (firmware 1.06)? I tried, and all I got were errors, i.e. no write/erase/format possible at all. Verbatim BD-RE DL media (VERBATIM1) works ok though.
The TDK media is in the supported media list though.

I have a 206DBK, is it recommended to turn OPC off? How can I do that?

According to the ImgBurn website,

OPC is automatically performed by the drive at the start
of a burn. The difference is that from ImgBurn v2.4.0.0 and on,
a command to perform OPC is sent to the drive before the actual
burn stage, so that possible problems with your media/burner/firmware
combination can be spotted before wasting a disc with a failed burn.

Notice that if the OPC command fails ImgBurn will ask if you
want to continue anyway or if you want to abort.

LIGHTNING UK! does all his burn with OPC off.

Over here, turning it on seems to suppress the LDC errors when
read speed exceeds 5x, but at the expense of higher peaks.

OPC can be found under Write Settings - Page 1.
