Does anyone have this problem or a solution to it? Pioneer 216D takes time and its light flashes after Windows Vista Ultimate wakes up from sleep, causing a delay in Vista's wake up time, I did not have this problem with 116D (the pata version). Thanks
The 216 is SATA, so its your SATA controller problem.

Thanks, But my samsung 203N SATA in the same PC does not have this problem. BTW my MB is ASUS P5Q-Pro.
You assume Pioneer is Samsung?!?
What settings are done for the SATA controller?

What do you mean? It is set as AHCI. No Raid.
The Optical Drive does not control hibernation. The Windows Operating System, the SATA controller, and/or the BIOS control hibernation. So look in those areas settings/configuration and not the Optical Drive.
