Really great scans, Pulsee!

You rock!!

I’ve just tried the 1.41 firmware , and it looks like the old ones ,for me at least .
It still can’t read CMC MAG E01 discs that I burnt with Pio 109 .
These discs read very nice on Benq 1640 with QS of 94/95 , they also read very well on LG 4167B .
Here is a scan for CMC on the Benq :

But on the 110 :
“Unrecovered read Error” :a

This is not normal, IMO.

Those are the scans I get with CMC E-01 on the 1640 and 110 and 111. Those drives love that staples +R media! Staples -R is another story! I burn it at 4X and not a full disk.

The problem is that it is not only one 110 but three :a
BTW , they are all Asus 1608P2S , I know it is identical to Pioneer 110 , but do you think that there is a chance for Asus to be different than Pioneer with these discs ?

@etp : what scans ? :bigsmile:

How are they connected?

It is always connected as Secondary Master , I’ve even connected it without the Slave drive “Benq” , always the same result

They are posted on several different threads! Check the scans thread and the Staples 7.99 thread in the bargains section.

SONY 16x DVD-R SONY16D1

This Time I Used ImgBurn v1.3.0.0 To Burn An ISO Image.
I Think I’ll Use This Media Only At 12x Max In Pioneer 110 Series in Future. :iagree:

SONY 16x DVD-R SONY16D1

Third Burn Of This Media But This Time At 12x.
