someone said that compatibility with liteon drives is fixed too, haven’t tried yet tough

#4

It is, at least with (my) 167. 8-D

#5

Alas, my 109 drive with 1.17 still behaves the same, Liteon 167 says burnt disc is a blank CD-R !!!

#6

oh…my 167T still cannot read the DVD-RW(pioneer 2X speed) burned by A09 with the 1.17 firmware, haven’t try other DVD-R disc

#7

So whats the verdict? Are you guys with 1.17 still having to use RecordNow Max?

#8

nothing, my liteon 163d doesn’t read the disc with this new version too

#9

Huh, that’s kind of weird.

Have you tested the burned media in other drives too?

And the conclusion?

#10

it works in other media as it worked before, it’s the liteon that has probs reading it

#11

MCC004 can be burned at 16x CAV,
burn time: 05:54

#12

What a burn!

#13

i think the AOPC/WOPC is just too aggressive so the burn time just not close to the magic 5:30 time…

mm improve time is need …but Quality is some how Very good!!!

i guys We need good Quality rather than speed!!

#14

RITEK R04 (+R 16X) still at 4X
MCC01RG20 4X, MCC02RG20 8X (burning at 8/12 on the 3520).
Some more work to do!

#15

The 8 speed discs I was using on the 107 and 108 are now recognized as 8 speed discs. I am having a friend try a movie on his Xbox as I know they didn’t work with Nero on the previous firmware.

#16

Awesome burn!

From what I’ve seen so far this one is better or at least equal to those made with Plex716 and BENQ 1620…

Pioneer 109 doesn’t recognise Benq media

ie

8X DVD+R

DAXON AZ2 4X only!

#19

That’s odd as the DVR-108 with firmware 1.18 will do them at 8x, I just verified on mine. The BenQ 1620 will overspeed those AZ2 discs to 16x.

#20

You just cannot compare a 108 with a 109 -> NEW hardware.
