Pio 112d > 112L 8.21 labelflash question

I have a question regarding the Pio 112D

I have a 112D crossflashed to 112L 8.21 RPC1

I read that this means I have Labelflash.

 1. is this true
 2. Since labelflash doesn’t require additional hardware, how do I use it (what software?)
 3. where can i get discs?

thanks

have a look on the labelflash site

http://labelflash.jp/product/index.html

so the drive now does have labelflash??

@ Dr Klovernutz,

Suggest obtaining one of the software utility programs similar to DVDInfo (http://www.dvdinfopro.com) and check for yourself if your 112D crossflashed to 112L 8.21 RPC1 supports LabelFlash or use the software referenced by PumaUK in posting #2.

Regards,
bjkg

A Pioneer DVR-112D crossflashed to 112L will support Labelflash.

The free Labelflash Index Maker can be downloaded from the site suggested by PumaUK from this page.

You can test and use the Labelflash function on the data side of a normal DVD+R or DVD-R (a.k.a. DiscT@2) if you like.

thank you, i thought i could test on a dvdr.

I wanted to make sure i tested with the correct software.

Why is it so “hard” to use the SEARCH function?

Hey man, no need to!

So, how far went labelflashing with your crossflashed 112L?

You can use the DiscT@2/LF function even with a standard DVD±R, but it requires at least around 900mb of free space left.
