#3

Hmm. Tough choice! But not for a real Freak. PIO all the way

#4

So are you going to get one?.

#5

In the US, supposedly in stock at: http://www.meritline.com/pioneer-dvr-112d-18x-dvd-10x-dl-dvd-drive.html

#6

So what up TCAS?
I wonder if PIO will make a SATA version of this drive?

#7

If they do, I’m all over it!

#8

Yep, the Pioneer DVR-212

#9

I have not seen one yet from Pioneer.

#10

I’ve owned just about everything but a Pioneer. Am I missing out on anything important?

#11

Pioneer had always made solid drives (I hated 110 though !) and the latest 111 is awesome although I use my Benq 1640 more frequently , feed the Pioneer drives with quality media and you are set , it also writes RAM and DL media beautifully

#12

:iagree:
I just purchased the 111D now a 111L 8.29 and it has been performing beautifully. The burns have been outstanding.

#13

For day to day operation I stick with my BenQ 1655 and NEC 3550@4551 the rest like (Aopen, Lite-ON, other repackage) stay in stock.

#14

If the 112 lives up to the great things ive heard about the 111 I may pick up my first pioneer.

#15

Well I guess that settles it for me. Already having tje 1650 and 1655 with the samsung and new LG and another Litey on the way the Pioneer would have to be an extraordinary reader, writer, make coffee and keep the wife happy before I could justify the purchase. LOL

Also in stock at Newegg:
