Great little proggie this DVD2ONE!
I wanted to see if I could get some feedback from this board about something I ran into with the Disney movie "treasure Planet".
I am in the U.S using DVD2ONE 1.2 and DVDdecrypter 220.127.116.11.
After ripping the movie to the HD with DVDdecrypter the first time it gave me an error message. I was extremely surprised since I have never seen an error before using that program. I didn't scribble down the problem and just redid the rip with no problems.
At this point I ran it through DVD2ONE, picked audio, and when we got to picking the track there were two tracks, same length but with different chapters. I went ahead and picked the one with more tracks and burnt the disc.
This was the first coaster I burnt since there was artifacting and black spots all through the movie. I redid the whole movie picking the other track and everything went fine. I also ran this problem by UKlightning at his site asking him about the first rip to the HD.
Does anyone have any idea why this DVD was made like this and are there other ones just like it out there?
Also, I really hate the DVD's who has the WS and the FS on the same disc. It is sometimes hard for someone like me to pick the right track since anamorphic and FS sometimes play pretty close in mediaplayer. An example of this was Disney's Dinosaur. Extremely hard to tell the two apart! Does anyone have any tricks on picking the right version?
