There´s Photoshop and there´s Photoshop
So many versions out there...and a lot of misunderstanding of what they are capable of.
For example, my brother is a professional photographer but specialising in video nowdays. So, he has "Photoshop"...but it is a pretty old version. I noticed that my low-end Photoshop Elements 5 is capable of far more than his older pro version. We are talking about modern versions now and the pro version for $1000 (depends which you are looking at) and the amateur version for $50.
I personally couldn´t live without PS E in whatever version....have a trial of the latest here too...and it doesn´t make a lot of sense to use anything else. No pros are using anything other than Photoshop...and I have to be able to be compatible and do anything the others can do. Most of this I can do, and the rest is easily available and understandable on Youtube...hundreds of tutorials are there...
