yeah this is good. it means that we will be able to copy DVDs. i am dubious about dvd format as far as files are concerned. I acknowledge that it is the future of video but after 2 years or so of dvd, how many bits of software come out on it? only VERY few (and these are all encyclopedias!). personally cds are big enough for everything but majortime backup and even then they will do the job. dvd is too expensive and not enough people have it.
