... I just got my replacement drive, a 1625k - mine was a 1620k (what's the difference? none that i can tell - same bundle). It only took over a month, endless expensive phone calls (one to Belgium), and 3 complaints (fax, email, UK division), none of which ever got a reply.
In the past (yes, my 228k burner also died), they just sent a replacement drive - this time it was a full retail box pack. Maybe this was a result of the complaints, maybe they had to buy them in retail because they still didn't have new stock - who knows.
Well, let's hope this one lasts.
