Philips DVD player doesn\'t play wmv files (Philips DVP3960/37 HDMI DivX Player)

Need some help over here. i did a clips using Window Movie Maker. Burn it into a CD-R disk (wmv file). But my Philips player unable to play it. Can anyone advise me how to go about it? thanks.

opss… the model is DVP3980 not DVP3960 which can’t play the wmv file …
