Burner: LiteOn IHBS 112 2 Firmware PL06
Disc: Light blue colour
Sold as “TDK BD-R x4 10 PK” (10 Spindle), Black Label, Limited Lifetime Warranty, Made In India
MID: PHILIPR04
Burnt at x4

Notes: This is the first disc from the 2nd spindle. In the 1st spindle, all discs have manufacturing defect, that makes burning stop at 17GB.

Shame on you, TDK.

#46

Same as above, the 2nd disc of the 2nd spindle… And poor me, i 've bought 50 of these… Already 11 are in the trash bin…

Shame on you, TDK!

#47

They seem the devil’s horns!

And to think that i threw my money away, thinking that being TDK, they would be a tad better than the Ritek Traxdata x4. These dics make the Riteks look like Taiyo Yuden made them!

I won’t touch anything with TDK logo every again.

Hi,

looks more than a writing strategy failure of the Lite-On. Try another burner or other firmware. Perhaps this could help. I burn the TDK at a LG 10LS30 and got AVG LDC of about 40 and AVG BIS of 0.66

IDK if that used to be the MID or what but I bought these recently in hopes this MID you displayed was correct because my burner is picky, well it wasn’t, luckily the real MID (or maybe they changed MID’s since you posted this) MID: UMEBDR-114-000 is also compatible with my burner.

I registered just to let you and others know (since this MID isn’t online anywhere else) what the corrected MID is.

from the looks of some “Mediarange” quality scans it seems that the burn quality depends ALLOT on the MIDCODES !!

and sure enough “philipxxx” doesnt look good from where i sitting !!

“LGEBRAS06(000)” (also from MEDIARANGE though) on the other hand have been good for me :iagree:

Check my Burn Results :stuck_out_tongue:
