Hey All,
I have upgraded from old PC to a dual core. However the specification for the motherboard i have chosen (Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2) i believe only has a PCI-Express 1 slot on the motherboard. So the question i put to you can i buy a PCI-Express 2.0 card for my motherboard (and work!)? - as this would help for future upgrades if i do not need to keep buying high-spec graphics cards.
The card i wanted is:
XFX GeForce 9600GT 512MB DDR3 PCIE 2XDVI 670/1.8GHz
Pressumably the cards are backward compatible aren’t they?
Does anyone see any reason why it shouldn’t work?
Thanks!
