Won’t there be an uninstall feature for the piece of crap? Or maybe by uninstalling it, it will send info back to the government and 2 swat units will be waiting for you by the time you press ok… Democracy by the people, for the people… i just love it :slight_smile:

China doesn’t care about copyrights. Just sell the Chinese versions of the PCs to another company and let them install the Green Dam software. The international model can have just the legit copy of Windows and all the usual sponsored crap/malware.

Unless the law prohibits the computer leaving the place of manufacture without GD, that is. In which case I’d be thrilled because it will force companies to finally give us an option of buying goods that aren’t made in China.

Since a lot of people in China are using GNU/Linux they can avoid such filtering nonsense.
