Actually my DVD burner an H.P.1040 r burns but does not read.I f I "play" with its connections, it will "re-detct" the burner and work until I re-boot.Then its only burn.If I use Isobuster it will extract any movie file to the temp folder and play it.But if you repeatedly use this system, "Disc C" gets full rather quickly if you don't delete these files all the time.[also a good place to check when needing to free up some disc space.I found a bunch of half-downloaded emule files on temps. No idea how long they were sitting there.
Question is, is there a problem with my burner? Is there another program that will read like Isobuster but play directly without extracting to another folder?
I have a Pioneer DVD player. It has a mind of its own when it comes to reading burnt discs.Using Ashampoo's latest burning software "expert mode" Joliet 2 iso 9660 it works 60% of the time.
The PC is connected to the TV so if it doesn't work on one player I try the other. But somink "universal" would be nice.
