Passing on a tip

I have been computing since Sinclair days (a long time) but yesterday I fond that you are never to young to learn. I found a tip on the net that I have never seen before. If you want to copy a batch of files in xp and some of the files are the same you have to press NO everytime not to overwrite.
TIP: If you hold shift before you press no it will not overwrite any of the files. It Works. I wonder if I am the only one that didn’t know that!

I asked that as a question on LockerGnome years ago, and have been using that since. It’s great for synchronizing and freshening folders.

PS: My first PC is a VIC-20…Started on an IBM 620 MainFrame and punchcards here…

good tip could have used it a many many many times.
