Partitioning a HDD with win 98 CD

Need help I"m new to this, how do I partition a new HDD with a win 98 CD it's bootable, I want it all on one volume were do I begin. I'm just a beginner at this. Please help! Blue

If it is a new hard drive, Windows Setup should ask where to install the Operating System and then just select the hard drive. If I remember correctly(It has been soooo long), I think there options during the setup to partition the hard drive, but that is only if you want to have more than one.

fidisk is the utility that comes with win98 to partition your hard drive(s). it's run from dos mode. options 1-5......one of those options is change disk (important as default is your C: drive, and you probably don't want to wipe that.

anyway, follow the prompts...it's pretty straight forward...
