It truly is a shame that the music industry has impossed such rediculous royalties. Problem with such services is that we, as consumers/listeners, are used to receiving music/talk radio for free, and when companies start asking for $$ we balk at it. More ads appear now on regular radio because of the royalty raising, but that’s business. If we want ad free, then we’ll pay for it (Serius/XM as example.) Most listen to what they can from internet sites, such as Pandora, because they were/are ad free. Now even they need funding to keep going, so it’s a neverending clusterphuck that all have to endure. I’d say at $32 a year is a lot cheaper than $9.995 + tax a month sounds reasonable. That’s just my opion

I have so many links (Foobar .fpl bookmarks) to streaming stations I never knew about Pandora until this article. Been listening to it for over an hour now and I love the concept! It’s so good, I might even subscribe…or at least click on all their ad links  I hope they make it!
