Panasonic Problems

Hi
I have a Panasonic DMRE50 DVD recorder
The Player side of things seems to work O.K
But when i try to record anything i get the Message
Recovery on the front Display
This happens on whatever Blank DVD i put into the machine
Other times it says No Record

We have just moved house so is there some chance the things been
knocked around in Transit ??

What kind of blank discs are you using?
Brand, maximum recording speed and type ("+" or “-”, write once or RW).
Did you check the user book to see if those are in the compatibility list?
