I just purchased the Panasonic DMR-ES20. I have connected it to my Sanyo television and am getting an excellent picture. Problem is that I cannot get sound. I am using the component connection and have all three wires running from the DVD player to the television and still am not getting any sound. I have tried the (audio/video cable) red, yellow and white wire hookups with no success for sound either . Am I missing something? Thank you for any assistance. 
The component connects are for video only. You use the white and red RCA audio connects for sound.
