My unit has worked faithfully for a number of years but about a week ago it decided to not power up. I have tried everything but it is completely dead. Any suggestions?
First check the fuse on the power supply board. If the fuse is good check the eletrolytic capacitors on the power supply board. Notice the blown capacitor at the centre lower left in the second photo.
Thanks...I will look at it tomorrow.
The fuse was OK and I changed the 1600 mfd 6.3 v cap which was swollen. I have dc voltage at both of the diodes but no voltage at the big cap. Should I change all of the electrolytics on the PS board?
