i need to overwrite system files in use , in memory
i tried CopyLock.exe but it doesn’t work
help me please
you have to turn off windows file protection to overwrite a protected file. if you want to do this then google for wfps10.exe the program is “Window File Protection Switcher version 1.0” it will allow you to switch off windows file protection and overwrite the file.
i should overwrite this file uxtheme.dll
you can probably do it from safemode as well.
thanks but it doesn’t solve the problem
did you try from the windows startup disc, enter the command prompt - if XP its called Recovery Console - you can override any files that way
i didn’t understand , should i do a boodisk with xp ?
i haven’t files such “recovery console”??
