I am having trouble trying to OC this Comp as it wont let me change the speeds by bios and i can not find any software that reconizes my mobo
can any 1 please help me with this??:eek::eek::eek::a

If the mainboard is not designed to be overclocked, then there is no chance to accomplish this.

If you want more performance, buy new hardware. Really.

As over clocking is done at the mobo. without knowing the make and model there is little hope of being able to assist.

As said before, this CPU doesn’t exist. Northwood is an Intel CPU. Use CPU-Z to find out what processor you have.

Most likely, your motherboard is BIOS locked, meaning you can’t overclock through the BIOS.

Its got an older Via chipset and cannot be overclocked. Time for a new build :smiley:

dude u r so wrong it can be overclocked by using clockgen and selecting the pll settings chipset as IC950403 and it works a charm all thanks to a another thread on another forum
