I agree. I have overclocked dozens of processors since the early 1990s and only had one fail on me. The only way I can see one failing is if the voltage is cranking to the moon and then it will likely freeze and respond to a reboot if the voltage is dropped. IMO, this is a money maker for Intel as the few chips that will be returned they will find undamaged.
