Overburnning in DVD's



cant i overburn a dvd like in a cd or it isnt possible
sorry for the noob question , but i didnt meant the nfo anywhere…

and if its possible , how to do it in ONES ?


Only a few DVD burners can overburn DVD+R media, and none that I know of can overburn DVD-R media.

Drives that can overburn DVD+R include:

Plextor PX-760/755/716/712
BenQ DW1655/1650/1640

If you don’t have any of those drives, you might as well forget about overburning DVD media.


great , i am using BenQ 1650 with BCIC firmware…
and using DVD+R media ( CMC MAG E01)

so can u point me , how to over burn
i wanna burn a series and it just differs about 1mb from the capacity of the DVD…
so i wont over burn with too much data…
