Overburning 80 min

vbimport

I have the following probl.:
yesterday i overburnt an audio cd of 708mb on a cd of 700 mb, the process stopped but cd was ok.
today i'm trying to burn a cd with to files size of 705 mb but its doesnt work, always says cd is to small.
i have 24/10/40

#2

audio takes less space (less mb) then data

#3

yes but on the burning screen was: 708mb and now i burned data(2 files), and on the burning screen was 705 thus less magabyte and still nothing

#4

i have a cdr that says 700mb data capacity
and 703mb audio capacity

that would mean you can burn mb in audio format on the cd then you can burn data.

that would explain your question i guess

Did you burn at “Disk-At-Once” or “Track-At-Once” ? This could explained your problem.

i read other overburning probs with 100mb cd on this forum and i found out that i shouldn’t use the nero wizard and now i burnt 81 min on a 80min cd. thanks to everyone for the hulp

80’ = 703 mb (data ) , 807 mb ( audio )

There are additional 1,5 - 2,5 min ( TY that I have = 82.40 - 82.41 ) on a CD.

So, it’s OK to squeeze around 815-820 mb of audio into a 80’ CD.

@damiandimitri

Are you sure about that ?

audio takes less space (less mb) then data

lol…no

i didn’t know how to say it.
i was trying to say that more audio will fit on a cd then data.

Yeah ! I knew it was just a slip of the tongue, man
