Overburn writing with NERO Burning ROM?

I have been using Nero 7 Ultra’s Nero Burning ROM to burn VIDEO_TS folders to DVD disc. Lately though I have been downloading films of the same format but they slightly exceed the amount of space allowed to burn them on a single later DVD. You can change the settings to allow 4600mb but some of the files I have are like 4750. In the attempt to burn them a message appears saying “not enough space, blah, blah…” would you like to try overburn writing. When I choose yes the disk is ejected. I read somewhere else you can change a value in the windows registry to allow this. I could not locate the exact folder they were refering to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Software \ ahead \ Nero-Burning Rom \ General and find file
OverSizeDefaultValue”

I got as far as Nero-Burning ROM then the only folder left was “info”.

Not even sure if it is possible to put this much on the DVD. Any info would be helpful.

If you have the Ultra version you should have a copy of Nero Recode. Why not run the “oversized” DVDs through that program and get them down in size so that they will fit on a non over-burned disc?

Awesome! That worked , thanks!
