I am having trouble downloading emails with attachments from my server in Outlook Express. I am using OE6. No problems with emails without attachments.
Since I wasn’t able to merge this thread with the new one posted and closed in the Newbies, I thought I’d add this bit of information for anyone trying to help abrakshas.
He had this extra information in that thread I closed:
Suddenly I am unable to download emails with attachments from our company’s server. Emails without attachments no problem. This started after compressing some of the files in my inbox/sent box.
Check in Tools/Options/Security if the option to allow attachments to be saved or opened is blocked. Also, in the mail account properties, the server timeout should be set to maximum.
