Optiarc 7170 Cannot burn blank cd

I have no problem burning dvd with my new 7170a but it cannot burn any cd. I have different brands of cd-r that I tried. Could someone please help me? I flashed back to the orig firmware.

I burned a copules of cdr using Liggy & Dee 1.03.

I flashed my drive with 1.03 but still can’t burn any cd’s. There’s something wrong here.

I saw this thread, and realized I have never burnt a CD w/my 7170.

So, I burnt a CD. Worked flawlessly.
