Opinion needed about the GSA-4167B inside

Hi folks,

I’ve always been a Nec or Lite-on user but now I’m considering getting the 4167B after reading some nice reviews. I have question I need a little help with, can anyone tell me the difference (except the price of course) between the two 4167B’s listed on Neweggs website… http://tinyurl.com/aw92x

I didnt want to be in the same situation as the guy in this thread (unless there’s a workaround for the firmware issue of course) http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=157799

If there is a difference in the drives in question, could someone point it out and recommend which one to purchase?

Neither has any mention if IODATA, so they should be the same.

Thanks for the input Peter, guess nobody else could see any big differences between the two either. Got one on order for the weekend. :slight_smile:
