[newsimage]http://static.rankone.nl/images_posts/2010/10/zOvzsp.jpg[/newsimage]As if Anonymous wasn’t already really angry to begin with, the Recording Industry Association of America’s (RIAA) court-ordered injunction to shut down Limewire earlier this week has fanned the flames even more.

WTF has HDBits got to do with the RIAA?

I have to agree. You can attack the institution, but not the individuals. Otherwise, you are now a terrorist, no matter how harmless.

Yeah well, the RIAA wasn’t so compassionate when they were suing mothers, kids, grandfathers and anyone else with families to feed. While the victims of the RIAA’s campaign and their families suffered, the families of RIAA members were living high on the hog. Screw the RIAA and their litters. …I’m all for payback big time!

Well maybe attacking individuals like that isn’t a great idea but maybe that’s what’s needed to finally get their full attention and make them rethink their sue anyone with a pulse and see who pays agenda.
When you go to far trying to protect some abstract concept of what’s yours and get the wrong people mad at you what comes around goes around.

I like this group, so I will give some tips on things I would like them to do. Make a virus that puts illegal music or movies on all computers, that way everyone is breaking the law, even the government. I would look at some type of @home hack. Hack into their databases and maybe release those through wikileaks, or some other non- affiliated site that would publish the illegalities of what they are doing. Shutting down their sites don’t seem to matter to these unscrupulous people (RIAA/ MPAA), but public humiliation will. Better yet, maybe OP should start focusing in on usage of torrents on government computers. You know all those people looking at porn while the financial meltdown, the Gulf oil spill, etc. was going on. It’s starting to get where we the people need to put government back in it’s place, and let them know WE are in charge. Like my man Jim Morrison said, “They have the guns, but we have the numbers.”
