ONEs and audio cue/bin

vbimport

#1

In my attempt to cut down tha amount of recording software on my machine, can ONEs be used to burn an audio cue and bin file? Every file I’ve tried, it says invalid or corrupt file (where CD-R Win and Nero burn without problems). Top of one of the cue files reads:

PERFORMER “Various”
TITLE “Best Of Platipus Euro CD1”
FILE “Best Of Platipus Euro CD1.mp3” MP3

one solution is to mount the cue/bin using alcohol 120% and burn a copy using ones.

the benefit of using alcohol 120% is that you don’t need a different recording software for all the different types of image

it works for me:-)

yeah ones can record cue file recorded by cdrwin etc no problem, but check in the cue file if the bin file is proper named, you dont have to use the pathname

here is a example of a good cue file

FILE “AcadeSWL.bin” BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

note AcadeSWL.bin is the bin file must be the same as in the cuefile

the start one record cue and select in this case cd mode 2352

goodluck

engineers that ‘example’ used is good for a data .bin/.cue but useless for an audio one.
This is an example of a good cue file of an audio cd -
FILE “HEART.BIN” BINARY
TRACK 01 AUDIO
INDEX 00 00:00:00
INDEX 01 00:00:33
TRACK 02 AUDIO
INDEX 00 04:29:10
INDEX 01 04:31:10
TRACK 03 AUDIO
INDEX 00 09:40:00
INDEX 01 09:42:00
TRACK 04 AUDIO
INDEX 00 13:54:30
INDEX 01 13:56:30
TRACK 05 AUDIO
INDEX 00 17:58:50
INDEX 01 18:00:50
TRACK 06 AUDIO

But the outcome is that ONEs still can’t record audio+CUE files?
