Ok Is This a Good Choice For a New 3d Card?

ASUS V8440 GeForce4 Ti 4400 Graphics Card (http://usa.asus.com/vga/agpv8440/overview.htm). its costing me $476 Canadian. i heard that geforce 4 isnt compatible with some games, is this true?

p.s. also about your question about it being not compatible with games… i aint never heard of it having problems with anything, u should be ok :slight_smile:

It’s certanly a good card, but Asus are known to be extremly expensive (atleast here in Europe).
And it’s not the GF4 that isn’t compatible with some games, it’s some games that aren’t optimized for GF4, making them feel “slow”.

which games are these, and btw, how come ur friends gta 3 stutters with a gf4 ti? fragmented HDD??

The next doom game(to bereleased late this year or early next year) was demonstrated on the card that ran it best. Guess what card it was!!!

Yes ATI!!

What more do you need to know?

ATI was the best card and costs half the price…
