It’s like video chips all over again …
Re release last year’s tech as this year’s bargain, with a few lower costing tweaks.

Admirable performance, all the same.

Classy review as always, thank you. I feel bad for the Sandforce 2xxx chips; they got off to a great start on first release - then the bottom dropped out. Once that was finally sorted they have been wonderfully stable and are decent mid-level performers. I still have a couple around here and would probably consider one of these for my MBP.

Another stellar review Wendy. I am wondering if this SSD will be available in 512gb or 480gb flavors? It seem to keep up with the best of them.
