It’s good that OCZ stays in the SSD market. Now Toshiba and Samsung have everything in-house. Let’s hope intel makes a new consumer-level controller.
By the way the 240 is $199. Too bad, it would be a real bargain at $139.

@aiolos, thanks for letting me know about the 240 GB model. I wish I made a screenshot, as I’m 100% sure it was $139.99. I checked a couple of times as I already wondered about the difference with the others. So I guess they discovered the error and changed it again.

They are the same price now as the Vector 150 240gb, the egg has them for209.00 and the 460 for 199.99 preorder, for 10 bucks I would rather buy the Vector 150 with IMFT nand.

The Vector 150 also has Toshiba NAND. Cherry picked stuff, with higher endurance, and validated to be able to cope with the faster clock speed of the BF3 M00 controller.
The BF3 M10 controller on the Vertex 460 runs a bit slower, but also consumes less power.

Okay, so I would still want the Vector 150 at the same price then. Right? Cherry picked nand is not easy to come by and now the 240 Vector 150 is selling for less than 200USD.
