No you cant flash it back with the original kor firmware.
you have to make a backup of the firmware using Mtkflash if you ever want to go back.

hmm have a strange minor prob
nero cd speed detects all my blank cd-r and cd-rw as 32 min after i tested with data cd which still detects well. i tried going back to old firmware still shows 32:00 min.
I have the same problem but without updating the firmware, don’t worry
oh alright thx its just strange that it start doing that today… ah well i dont have 52x media now so ill OC it again when i get the media
had a similar problem with a BTC drive by any chance do you both have alcohol 120 install uninstall it and try

Dont see ne reason why
make sure you use the one in the zip file with the W /M /B command to write the new firmware
