From memory, windows95 doesn’t need all these modifications to run OK. … it’s just DOS that needs these. Everything you need should be on the Windows95 CD. I’d be surprised if the Windows 95 installer didn’t set up most of this for you anyway.
You will need OAKCDROM.SYS, HIMEM.SYS, EMM386.EXE, and MSCDEX.EXE put somewhere on your HDD - these should also be floating around on your Windows 95 CD.
You will need to refer to himem.sys, emm386.exe & oakcdrom.sys (in that order) in your CONFIG.SYS.
You will also need to get MSCDEX.EXE loaded in the AUTOEXEC.BAT.
Himem.sys & emm386.exe should be in the c:\windows folder
oakcdrom.sys & mscdex.exe should be in the c:\windows\system folder, but you can download the oakcdrom.sys here.
You can use:
LoadHigh C:\Windows\COMMAND\MSCDEX.EXE /D:CDROMXYZ
