Yeah and he uses a crackberry. He must have RIM stock instead of apple.
Anyway, the problem here is not that there’s a video game challenge; but that all the latest consoles are so closed off that no one short of a large design studio can make games for them.
I guess then PC’s are the ultimate gaming platform for this then. Just seems sad to me as a developer that companies like Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo are so neurotic about protecting their revenue stream that their systems won’t ever enhance the minds of kids who want to make software on those platforms. Sony came close by offering Linux on the PS3 but failed miserably by locking out access to the high-end graphics processor. How can you make a game locked out like that? It doesn’t matter anyway since they went ahead and killed the Linux support out of paranoia.
It just strikes me at pathetic and sad is all.
