Good news for all who don’t have a DVD writer… :c Unfortunatly I just bought one a few weeks ago.

So now the choice is between the Yamaha CRW-F1 series, or a drive based on this chipset. Wish the CRW-F1 supported the DVD formats. Feh. :frowning:

holy monkey!! :slight_smile: the only prob is that it won’t support dvd-ram, the only “standard” which works like a writable dvd is ment to be.

DVD-RAM is dead.

it needs to support the playback of dvd-a 24/96 & 24/192 audio before i buy one.
