NY Post puts up poorly executed paywall to drive iPad app purchases.

Attempting to access nypost.com via the built in Safari browser on the iPad results in a page stating "Thanks for coming! NYPOST.com editorial content is now only accessible on the iPad through the New York Post App."

This is a terrible precedence and I don’t think Apple will like it. They make enough money that they should not care about the profit of this app vs. what it could mean to Internet use on iPad.

Using the Internet on the iPad is supposed to be an open and free experience like any other computer. In fact this is discrimination. I can see the site for free on a laptop or desktop ? Why not an iPad ? What a load of BS.
