Oh shit man… I fear this is only the begining

Well then don’t buy nvidia cards. Buy ATI cards. Reports say that then vidia FX5800 can’t perform as the ATI 9700 Pro. Also they are much cheaper. Use the money in your pocket to control what YOU want and not BIGFUCKEMCORP plc.:+

just get yourself standalone cards, it’s better that way anyway, standalone is always better than multipurpose devices. get yourself hollywood plus or xcard, and then you won’t need a tv out graphic card to play dvds on tv through the computer. and if you need to play tv on pc, get a hauppauge tuner, they are the best. I’ve got hollywood plus card(cracked region code/macrivison with remote selector) and hauppauge tv with radio stereo card, and don’t care what nvidea blocks, especially because I don’t use nvidea drivers, but rather modified creative labs nvidea drivers, which are better anyway. I heard much complaining about the nvidea drivers in the last years, and haven’t been able to reproduce any of the errors on my computer, the creative labs gforce drivers work flawlessly. Nvidea, look at what creative developers are doing and learn from them!

I Agree 100% with WRFan, i have had too many cards with all shit onboard and eventually there are probs :(, so no only use standard cards with pci tuner/capture card :4 and even though nVidia sucks compaired to the standards of 3dfx few years back they are still superior to ati LOL. l8trz Q

I believe the software WinDVD refuses to playback DVDs that don’t have Macrovision on them. Or it was a coincidence…

It still amazes me to this day, how Macrovision :r gets away with marketing a product that only inconveniences legitimate users, and doesn’t do shit to stop the pro’s from copying movies.

I had to buy a new TV so I could watch DVDs. Old one didn’t have AV-inputs. Couldn’t feed thru VCR AV-inputs, because the F’n Macrovision screwed it up.
