Doesn’t Acronis Drive Image already do that??? Beyond the cost it’s already out on the market…

Doesn’t do anything new, but it’s cheaper than other commercial solutions.

Personally, I just use Clonezilla with Gparted live … its free, and does the job.

The big plus you can create Acronis on CD and use it from the source to created backup on other computers just with the CD that is the big plus of it and it has a GUI interface that is can be mouse driven without much trouble. Free is good but there comes with sacrifices to being free as well and you won’t get support when needed. I used Acronis for about 5 years and haven’t had a problem it couldn’t make a image of hard drive or clone a hard drive.
