Now, don't all shout at once but

How do you retrieve the manufacturing information data from blank media?

I have recently bought a cd-r printable sample pack. It contains nine disks from 6 manufacturers (there was actually one disk missing but that is another story).

There is no visual information on most of the disks as to which disk is from what manufaturer. Is there some way such information can be on the disk and if so how can I retrieve it?

Many programs can show the ATIP information on CD-R media, which can usually be translated to manufacturer information.

One such program is Nero CD/DVD Speed (use the Disc Info tab) which is available for free.

Thanks DrageMester, Nero CD/DVD speed it was! I’ve now got all those wee graphs 'n all. I’am going to have some fun with this…
