Noob question

Can someone tell me what format to save my cd/dvd scans in so I can upload them to cd freaks, because everytime I try the file is too big???

Hi
1st make sure the scan window is not maximised.
They when you save. Save as .png file.
If it is still too big, you need an image resizer.
Or use a third party like ImageShack.

Try to save them as .png, what are you using to capture the image? Are you uploading them to an image host such as Photobucket or Imageshack first? You can resize them there if needed.

I am just saving them to my harddrive. Nero cd/dvd speed has several options in which format to use to save the scan to your harddrive. Can’t I just save the file as .png not maximised an then upload straight to cd freaks??

Yes you can if no resizing is needed.

Hi
In my previous post the 1st 2 images are uploaded using ImageShack.
The 3rd is using CDF’s Manage Attachments.
If you have the CD/DVDSpeed minimised & save as .png. It should work for you. It does for most.
It might be your screen resolution, if you can’t do it that way.
A Free image resizer from VSO.

I got it !! Thanks!
