No more ×32 CD-RW UltraSpeed plus burners?

Some early 2002 TSST drives that only supported DVD reading but CD writing achieved 52× CD-R and 32× CD-Rw writing.
The 32× CD-RW seems dead today. Even the newest drives support up to ×24 ZCLV on CD-RW, whereas old drives achieved 24×CAV and 32×ZCLV on CD-RW.

Slim laptop drives hit ×16 Z-CLV on a 24× CD-RW.
