No media detected in drive

Burning with Sonycdrwdvdcrx310eesda3
Running XP

No media detected. Need help, can't get dvdfab to recognize blanks.

Apparently the CRX-310EE is only a combo drive, so will burn CDs but not DVD media. Will read both types of media, though.

What blanks have you inserted…CDR or DVD R?

You’ll need a DVD burner to burn DVD media.
